Why Russia may be abandoning Iran on this latest crisis

Click the link and look at the map. Chechnya (Russia's biggest thorn in its side) is just north of Georgia and Azerbaijan. And further south, by about 500 km (300 mi)...

Iran.

Can you imagine if Muslim fundamentalists in Chechnya could get nuclear material from Iran!? Yeah. Russia's spooked. Of course, this is just speculation.

Still thinking about China...
